Athletic Trainer/Physician Extender- 40/hrs, Day Shifts ( Outpatient Orthopedics Temple Faculty Practice) Temple University Health System - 3.7 Philadelphia, PA Job Details Full-time 11 hours ago Qualifications Certified Athletic Trainer BLS Certification Bachelor's degree Orthopedics Full Job Description Assists physicians, other athletic trainers, orthopedic surgeons, APPs and supportive staff with patient care in the Orthopedic Surgery outpatient offices and clinics. Follows patient from arrival to departure. Ensures patient and physician needs met to support patient experience. Prepares charts for visits, testing approvals. Assists in procedure / surgery scheduling, contributes to clinical regulatory readiness, inventory/stocking, patient phone call responses, other duties as assigned including of subordinate positions. Education Bachelor's Degree Athletic Training accredited program Required Master's Degree Athletic Training accredited program Preferred Experience 2 years of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting Required Licenses Certified Athletic Trainer Required PA Athletic Trainer Required Basic Life Support Required
