We are looking for an Athletic Trainer to join our practice. We're looking for a compassionate, collaborative, forward-thinking Therapist who excels at assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses and devising creative, but effective treatment plans. We treat a wide variety of patients, from professional athletes to the retiree who wants to hike again. We operate a high-energy, positive-thinking, research driven environment that allows us to offer cutting-edge therapy approaches to help our patients achieve their goals. Positional Release Therapy Institute was established in 2008 and has been in operation in Ogden, Utah since 2011. We not only treat patients in Ogden, but also conduct manual therapy courses and research at our Ogden location, in the US and abroad.

Qualifications:

Board Certified Athletic Trainer Utah State Licensure eligible Must carry professional liability insurance Must carry current training in CPR/AED and first aid 1-2 years experience preferred, new graduates considered

Bonus Qualifications :

• Training and/or certification in Manual Therapy, such as Positional Release Therapy, Mulligan Concept, Strain Counterstrain, or other related therapies LMT or dual credential Experience in dance medicine or previous experience as a competitive dancer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assess client's medical history, symptoms, and other relevant information to formulate a plan of treatment Treat patients with manual therapy techniques Work collaboratively with practitioners and other health care practitioners outside of clinic to provide the client with the best therapy possible Maintain record of treatments, evaluation, progress notes Communicate and coordinate with referring physicians to ensure a consistent level of care Assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries
