Bring your audiology expertise to a rewarding school-based contract role, supporting students across multiple campuses in an engaging educational environment. As a full-time itinerant audiologist, you will collaborate with a variety of school teams and make a significant impact on the learning experiences of children with hearing needs. The contract runs from mid-December 2026 through June 4, 2027, and offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week).

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Current and valid California Audiology license Experience working with children and school-aged populations preferred Solid understanding of hearing loss, Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), and related support needs Proficiency in managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining HAT/FM systems and amplification equipment Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for documentation and reporting Collaborative spirit and an ability to engage with various educational teams, families, and specialists Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between school sites during school hours

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and prepare detailed reports for students with hearing challenges and CAPD Contribute to IEP, IFSP, and 504 Plan development and meetings, recommending suitable accommodations and interventions Manage, order, and troubleshoot hearing assistive technology (HAT/FM) equipment Provide support in troubleshooting hearing aids and related devices Serve as a consultant and resource for families, teachers, district teams, and the DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) team Collaborate closely with educators to support student access to curriculum and classroom activities This position gives you the opportunity to work in diverse school settings and make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys.
