In this full-time, itinerant contract position, youll travel between schools during regular hours, providing essential services to students from mid-December through early June. Key Qualifications and Experience:

Current California Audiology license required Experience in educational or pediatric audiology strongly preferred Comfortable working independently across multiple locations during the school day Skilled in conducting assessments and preparing comprehensive reports for students with hearing loss or Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams Proficient with HAT/FM equipment and hearing aid troubleshooting

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess and report on hearing difficulties impacting students educational access Contribute to IEP, IFSP, and 504 plans by recommending accommodations and participating in meetings Manage, order, and maintain assistive technology (HAT/FM equipment) Troubleshoot hearing aids and related amplification tools Collaborate with educational professionals and communicate findings and guidance with families and teams Support DHH team initiatives and promote access to instruction This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, five days a week, for a total of 37.5 hours per week, offering a fulfilling opportunity to serve as a vital resource for students, staff, and families.
