Qualifications and Skills:

Active state licensure to practice audiology in Kansas. Masters or doctoral degree in audiology. Valid professional license issued by the Kansas Board of Hearing Aid Examiners or appropriate Kansas credentialing agency. Experience supporting school-aged children; strong preference for experience with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students. Excellent communication and consultation skills for staff collaboration. Comfortable working independently across multiple sites.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for DHH students (Pre-K12). Prioritize DHH caseload, with an initial focus on nine Pre-K students; additional numbers discussed at interview. Prepare and interpret audiology reports for educational planning. Provide ongoing consultation to teachers, staff, and families. Support planning and implementation of hearing assistive technology.
