Key Qualifications:
Masters degree or doctoral degree (Au.
D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology required. Current Texas Licensure as an Audiologist. Demonstrated experience in pediatric or school-based audiology practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and staff.
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive 1:1 audiology evaluations, screenings, and interventions for students. Develop and implement individualized plans to support each students hearing health and academic access. Consult with teachers, school staff, and families to promote understanding and inclusion regarding hearing health needs. Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and district policy. Remain current on best practices by attending relevant professional development as necessary.
