Job Description
Position Overview:
Reserve Hearing Center is seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team. As the perfect candidate, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing loss and related disorders, as well as providing comprehensive audiological assessments and interventions to our patients. Your duties will include fitting and dispensing hearing aids, counseling patients and their families, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing loss and related disorders. Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and immittance testing. Interpret test results and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment or intervention. Fit and dispense hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and other amplification systems. Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies, and hearing conservation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited university. Current Ohio licensure or eligibility for licensure in Audiology. Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations using medical imaging and other advanced technologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively explain complex audiological concepts to patients and their families. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
