Key Qualifications:
Masters or doctoral degree (Au.
D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology Active Texas Licensure as an Audiologist Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in educational settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in care
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct hearing assessments and screenings for students, identifying those in need of intervention or further evaluation Develop and implement individualized audiology care plans, including managing hearing aid fittings and auditory training Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students access to educational opportunities Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations Provide in-service training and resources to staff to promote better understanding of hearing loss and accommodations in the classroom
