This full-time, on-site contract position focuses on 1:1 instructional support for a pediatric learner, ensuring every educational experience is accessible and enriching. Youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families, creating individualized strategies that empower students to reach their full potential throughout the school year.
Ideal Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required State certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Experience working 1:1 with pediatric students preferred Previous K-12 school or educational setting experience advantageous Commitment to fostering independence and success for visually impaired learners Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, specialists, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized, 1:1 instruction and support to the assigned visually impaired student Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and adaptive strategies Monitor student progress and adapt approaches as needed for optimal learning Work closely with educational staff and related service providers to support student accessibility Maintain accurate progress documentation and create reports for student and team review Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Those in this position can take advantage of comprehensive benefits.
