Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school setting. As an Itinerant Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll serve elementary students across 2-3 campuses, working collaboratively with specialists to implement meaningful behavior intervention plans. Your role will be vital in fostering positive learning environments and helping children reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience working with children in self-contained or specialized classroom settings, ideally within elementary schools Ability to travel between 2-3 local campuses as needed Strong communication skills and initiative for partnership with school-based Behavior Specialists Commitment to delivering compassionate, student-centered behavioral support
Primary Responsibilities:
Work onsite at assigned campuses, providing direct 1:1 and small group behavioral interventions Implement detailed Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) set forth by the specialist team Monitor student progress, collect data, and maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and Behavior Specialists to establish consistent classroom behavior management strategies Support inclusion and positive behavioral supports in classroom settings Adapt and respond to student-specific behavioral needs in a flexible, proactive manner
