Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for a passionate Registered Behavior Technician to make a meaningful difference in a supportive school environment near Repton, AL. This contract position is ideal for someone with a current RBT certification who thrives on providing direct behavioral support to students and is ready to help launch new programming as the school integrates RBTs for the first time.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Previous experience in educational settings or working with children with special needs preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to maintain detailed data and follow individualized behavior intervention plans Flexible and adaptable—ready to contribute as new caseload information becomes available in
August Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 or small group behavioral interventions under the guidance of BCBA-supervised programs Support students in developing communication, social, and adaptive skills Accurately document sessions, progress, and behavioral data as required by school protocols Collaborate closely with teachers, allied professionals, and parents to foster positive outcomes Attend case meetings and participate in ongoing professional learning as the school introduces the RBT role
