Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding position supporting elementary-aged learners in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract role centers on providing 1:1 assistance to a third-grade student, while also offering general classroom support. You'll work closely with an experienced district BCBA, benefiting from professional guidance and collaboration throughout the school year. Your schedule will follow a consistent Monday through Friday routine, 7:45am to 3:15pm, aligning with the traditional school calendar from August 7, 2026, to May 25, 2027. If you have a passion for supporting children with special needs and thrive in a school environment, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, but not required Experience as a Paraprofessional, RBT, or similar role highly valued Prior work with children who have special needs and behavioral challenges Ability to provide compassionate, steady support to elementary students Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and committed to the full duration of the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
Foster a supportive learning environment for a third-grade student through 1:1 interaction Assist with behavior interventions and daily tasks under the supervision of the district BCBA Help facilitate classroom activities and promote student engagement Document progress and collaborate with educators and therapists as needed Contribute to a positive and inclusive educational experience for all students You'll play an essential part in shaping a student's daily learning and personal growth.
