Job Description

BIA is entering its 32nd year of providing behavior services to children and adolescents with Autism and other conditions. Much has changed in our field over the last nearly 3 decades and we're growing! We are looking for a Mid-level Supervisor/BCBA Intern in our Oakland Region. If applying for a Mid level supervisor position you must be uniterally enrolled in a MA/BCBA educational program or have completed the educational requirements to sit for the BCBA exam. BIA will provide you with the supervision hours needed towards your BCBA certification.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provides case management of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Write clear and relevant goals for client development. Monitors progress and evaluates treatment effectiveness regularly, maintaining high rates of progress. Models and provides training in all aspects of ABA programs (e.g., generalization, preference assessments, behavior protocols, visual supports, discrete trial) Conduct monthly parent meetings for consultation and training to maintain ongoing communication and support for families. Assists and provides hands on training to behavior technicians with providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services within the home, school and/or clinic environment to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Assist in creating instructional materials, running programs, taking data, and assessing clients in the development of new programs relating to the clients functional and education needs

Hours and Availability:

Full time, 40 hours per week in clinic Monday through Thursday, 8:30am-6:00 p.m. Friday, 8:30am - 4pm & 1 Saturday morning per month Work in our clinic in the Rockridge area of

BCBA Qualifications:

BA or MA required

•must have completed a Graduate program in ABA with a BCBA add on and awaiting to test for the BCBA exam or be actively enrolled in a graduate program in ABA with a BCBA add on.
