Kindred Communication is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-to-one In home applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for an adult client. Every session embeds functional communication, and many of our clients use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems such as speech-generating devices. The support behind you Direct mentorship from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with case supervision above industry norms, so you always have a clinician in your corner Paid training to competency on every client's plan and communication system before you ever work independently Regular individualized coaching, not drive-by supervision, with a monthly paid clinical workshop where the whole team sharpens its skills together A restraint-free, trauma-informed crisis model (Ukeru) built on safety, dignity, and connection, because how we respond in hard moments defines who we are A practice that never runs on autopilot State-of-the-art electronic data collection, so your session data feeds real clinical decisions in real time instead of sitting in a binder Treatment materials and programs that are custom-built and continuously refreshed for each client, because a plan that has gone stale is a plan that has stopped working Communication-centered programming, including AAC, that keeps every case clinically alive and every session purposeful A clinical culture that expects you to bring observations forward and treats your input as data that matters What you will do Provide one-to-one behavior therapy sessions in home, implementing each client's individualized treatment plan with fidelity Embed functional communication and AAC throughout every session Collect accurate session data at the point of service using our electronic data collection system Communicate observations and changes to your supervising BCBA and participate actively in supervision and coaching Implement each client's crisis and safety plan using our restraint-free de-escalation approach Maintain a consistent weekly schedule and protect the confidentiality of every client served Minimum qualifications Current RBT certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), including the 40-hour training, initial competency assessment, and certification exam School-based experience supporting students with disabilities, for example as a one-to-one aide, paraprofessional, instructional assistant, teacher's assistant, or teacher (experience in a high school setting preferred) Bachelor's degree required, and at least 18 years of age Ability to pass background screening and clearance Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Completion of crisis and safety training upon hire (provided and paid) Preferred qualifications Experience providing ABA therapy, behavior intervention, or direct care to individuals with autism Experience supporting adolescents or young adults in a high school or transition-age setting Familiarity with AAC devices or communication-based intervention Coursework in psychology, education, child development, or a related field Pursuing BCBA or BCaBA certification (supervised fieldwork opportunities available) Grow with us We invest in people who want more.
