Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients, utilizing ABA techniques and strategies Assist clients in acquiring and developing skills related to communication, socialization, daily living, and behavior management Collect and record data during therapy sessions, accurately tracking the progress of clients Collaborate with a team of professionals, including BCBAs and other Behavior Technicians, to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in ABA Maintain a professional and ethical attitude, adhering to agency policies and guidelines Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other team members to promote effective collaboration and client progress Maintain confidentiality of client information and follow HIPAA regulationsQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred) Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is highly desirable Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques Ability to follow directions, work independently, and adapt to changing circumstances Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Must pass a background check and have a valid driver's license (if required for home-based services) Active Registered Behavior Technician Certification if applying for RBT positionWorking Conditions:
The Behavior Technician and Registered Behavior Technician position may involve working in various settings, including homes, schools, clinics, and community-based settings. The role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate clients' needs, including evenings and weekends. The position may involve physical activities, such as bending, lifting, and playing with clients. Appropriate personal protective equipment and safety measures will be provided.
