Responsibilities Implement personalized behavioral intervention plans based on established treatment protocols, including ABA strategies. Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Support clients with activities that promote social skills, communication, daily living skills, and adaptive behaviors. Assist with intake assessments and contribute to patient evaluations by observing behaviors and documenting findings accurately. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care plans and effective communication regarding client progress. Participate in ongoing training on behavioral health topics, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques to enhance your skills. Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or special education is highly preferred. Passion for working with children or individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Strong skills in data collection, medical documentation, and understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Ability to perform patient assessments and assist in diagnostic evaluations with attention to detail. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for managing medical records securely. Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to patient care. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications such as RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) are a plus.
