Job Description

Peace of Mind ABA is seeking compassionate, dependable, and energetic Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents in their homes and communities throughout the Los Angeles area. No RBT certification is required to apply. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in psychology, child development, education, special education, social work, speech and language, healthcare, childcare, or related fields who are interested in developing a career in ABA. Behavior Technicians work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will receive training and ongoing clinical support while helping children develop meaningful communication, social, play, safety, behavioral, and daily-living skills. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one ABA services in accordance with individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA. Teach communication, social, play, safety, self-help, and daily-living skills. Implement behavior-support and skill-acquisition procedures as trained by the BCBA. Collect accurate session data and complete required documentation. Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based teaching strategies to help clients learn new skills. Communicate professionally with parents/caregivers and members of the clinical team. Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision and training. Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA and company policies. Travel to client homes and approved community locations within the assigned service area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience working with children is preferred but ABA experience is not required . College coursework or a degree in psychology, child development, education, special education, social work, speech/language, healthcare, or a related field is a plus. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations. Dependable, patient, professional, and comfortable working independently in clients' homes. Ability to follow clinical protocols, accept feedback, and participate in ongoing supervision. Ability to complete required background and onboarding requirements. Schedule & Service Area This is an in-person position providing services in client homes and community settings. Cases are available throughout the Westside Regional Center service area and surrounding Los Angeles communities, including Inglewood, Hawthorne, Lawndale, Westchester, Culver City, and surrounding areas . Client assignments are matched whenever possible based on your location and availability. Afternoon, evening, and some weekend availability is especially valuable. Compensation $24.00-$28.00 per hour , based on education, relevant experience, training, and qualifications.
