We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and energetic Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents in their homes and communities throughout the Los Angeles area. New to ABA? We encourage you to apply! RBT certification and previous ABA experience are not required for entry-level Behavior Technician candidates. We welcome applicants with experience or education in psychology, child development, education, special education, social work, speech and language, healthcare, childcare, or related fields. Already an RBT? We'd love to hear from you. Current RBTs with experience providing ABA services may qualify for our higher RBT pay range based on experience and qualifications. Compensation $22
- 30 per hour , based on experience, education, qualifications, and credentialing. Behavior Technician (BT): $22
- 27/hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): $27
- 30/hour What You'll Do As a BT/RBT, you will work directly with children and families under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities include:
Provide one-on-one ABA services according to individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA. Help children develop communication, social, play, safety, self-help, and daily-living skills. Implement skill-acquisition and behavior-support procedures as trained by the BCBA. Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based teaching strategies. Collect accurate session data and complete required documentation. Communicate professionally with parents/caregivers and members of the clinical team. Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision, training, and clinical feedback. Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA, ethical, and company requirements. Travel to assigned client homes and approved community locations. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with children is preferred, but previous ABA experience is not required for BT applicants . College coursework or a degree in psychology, child development, education, special education, social work, speech/language, healthcare, or a related field is a plus. Current RBT certification is preferred for applicants seeking the RBT pay range. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned client locations. Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional. Comfortable working independently in client homes and community settings. Ability to follow clinical protocols, accept feedback, and participate in ongoing supervision. Must successfully complete required background and onboarding requirements. Schedule & Service Area This is an in-person position providing services in client homes and community settings. Current recruiting is focused on Inglewood, Hawthorne, Lawndale, Westchester, Culver City, and surrounding West Los Angeles communities .
Expected hours:
approximately 10-30 hours per week , depending on client availability, location, and employee availability. Afternoon and early evening availability is especially valuable. Client assignments are matched whenever possible based on your location and availability.
