r46292-90304 Job Description Contract Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral support services and consultation for students in an educational setting. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students achieve positive behavioral and academic outcomes through evidence-based interventions. Position Overview The BCBA will collaborate with educators, related service providers, administrators, and families to assess behavior, develop intervention plans, and support the implementation of effective behavioral strategies. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled problem-solver, and passionate advocate for student success. Responsibilities Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and behavioral evaluations. Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Analyze behavioral data and make recommendations based on student progress. Provide consultation and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff regarding behavior management strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral recommendations as needed. Ensure services and documentation comply with applicable federal, state, and district regulations. Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports. Qualifications Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field. Experience working with school-age students preferred. Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral assessment and intervention practices. Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams. Preferred Experience Experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), emotional/behavioral disorders, and other developmental disabilities. Knowledge of special education processes and IEP development. Previous school-based BCBA experience.
