We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and provide school-based behavioral services within the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. Position Summary The BCBA will provide behavioral assessment, intervention, consultation, and support services within school settings to improve student outcomes and promote positive learning environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about student success, skilled in collaboration, and committed to delivering ethical, evidence-based ABA services. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssessment and Intervention Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes and functions of challenging behaviors. Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Evaluate student progress and adjust interventions based on data and outcomes. Ensure interventions align with evidence-based ABA practices. Staff Training and Support Train and support teachers, instructional assistants, and other school personnel in behavioral intervention strategies. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff implementing behavior plans. Assist staff in accurate data collection and documentation procedures. Data Collection and Analysis Collect, review, and analyze behavioral data. Use data-driven decision-making to evaluate intervention effectiveness. Prepare reports and recommendations based on assessment and progress monitoring results. Collaboration and Consultation Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and student support teams. Consult with school staff regarding behavioral concerns and effective intervention strategies. Student Support Provide direct behavioral support and coaching to students as needed. Assist students in developing self-regulation, social, communication, and adaptive skills. Promote positive behavioral outcomes that support academic achievement. Compliance and Professional Practice Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to special education and behavioral supports. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Adhere to the BACB Ethics Code and all company policies and procedures. Support the development and implementation of behavioral support policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing. All other applications will be discarded. Active CPR Certification. Active CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification. Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field. Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs. Strong understanding of ABA principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions. Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience providing ABA services in school-based settings.
