At SMILE Pediatric Therapy & Diagnostics, our mission is to improve the lives of children and their families through exceptional, evidence-based therapy programs including Behavior Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. We're a fun, collaborative, and progressive pediatric center looking for a passionate Behavior Interventionist to join our growing team!
ABOUT THE ROLE SMILE
uses evidence-based behavior treatment models designed to support children diagnosed with or at risk for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Focusing on increasing meaningful skills and reducing challenging behaviors through structured, individualized interventions rooted in behavioral science. As a Behavior Interventionist , you'll: Provide engaging 2-3 hour therapy sessions with children primarily ages 4 -10 years. Collect and record data to track progress and celebrate successes Collaborate closely with supervisors and families to promote consistency and growth Implement treatment goals while playing, teaching, and motivating children to develop new skills Work with a combination of ongoing clients receiving consistent therapy and short-term coverage clients, allowing you to build experience with a diverse range of needs and treatment goals. Work in home, school, and community settings to support children across different environments You'll be part of a supportive team environment , with full training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow within the field.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(Please apply only if you meet all minimum qualifications) High school degree (associate's degree preferred) Reliable vehicle, Auto Insurance, and a valid Driver License (travel between sessions required and compensated) Be available to work between the hours of 3 pm - 7 pm Availability to work within one or more of the following areas: Duarte. El Monte, Monrovia, San Gabriel Valley
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
At least 6 months of experience working with children (12 months-14 years) Experience supporting children with or at risk for ASD using ABA, DIR/Floortime, or ESDM approaches Bilingual abilities are a plus
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS CPR
& First Aid Certification Livescan background check, TB clearance, and Health Screening Proof of immunization for
Pertussis and Measles Job Type:

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
