This full-time position offers 32.5 hours each week working directly within a school environment, making a significant impact on young learners. The role is open to male candidates who have at least three years of ABA experience in a school setting, even if not currently certified as an RBT. Successful individuals will be adept at managing and supporting students exhibiting self-injurious behaviors, cases of elopement, and aggressive tendencies. Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years ABA experience working in a school setting (elementary level strongly preferred) Male candidates only, in line with student-specific needs RBT certification welcomed but not required for highly experienced applicants Demonstrated comfort and skill in managing self-injurious behavior, elopement, and aggression in young students Strong communication, de-escalation, and collaboration skills Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and participate in ongoing staff meetings or trainings
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one behavioral support and intervention for elementary students Implement individualized behavior plans and collect daily data on student progress Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and specialists, to adapt strategies Remain responsive and proactive when faced with challenging behaviors Foster a positive, structured environment that encourages student growth and safety This contract position promises both meaningful challenges and the chance to create positive change in a student's educational journey.
