The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have behavioral health challenges, including autism spectrum disorders. This role involves implementing treatment plans, providing direct patient care, and ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards. The Behavior Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of our clients.
Required:
Minimum 3 days/ week, M-F Available between 8 am
  • 2 pm Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
Provide direct support to children and families, fostering a safe and supportive environment. Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress. Uses basic knowledge of behavioral health and ABA to communicate effectively with team members and caregivers. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and protect patient information. Engage in continuous training on best practices for working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care. Qualifications 1 year of experience in the field required Experience working with children, particularly those with behavioral health issues or autism spectrum disorders. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in medical documentation is preferred. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes is a plus. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and patience in all interactions. Ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds while providing high-quality support.
