r42625-94062 Job Description Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) School-Based | Redwood City, CA 94062 ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a part-time, school-based opportunity in Redwood City, California, supporting students in grades 912 and post-secondary transition programs for the 20262027 school year. This role is a great opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys working with older students and collaborating across multiple school sites. The position offers the chance to support students with behavioral and transition needs while working alongside a multidisciplinary educational team.

Caseload & Behavioral Support:
No overdue FBAs or BIPs at this time Expected to complete approximately 1015 FBAs/BIPs throughout the school year RBT supervision is not currently required, but may become a responsibility in the future Support students across high school and post-secondary settings Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement effective behavioral supports
Responsibilities:
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Complete approximately 1015 FBAs/BIPs throughout the school year as needed Provide behavioral consultation and support to students and staff Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, administrators, and related service providers Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor student progress Provide recommendations based on evidence-based behavioral practices Support students across multiple school sites Participate in IEP and student support meetings as needed Help promote independence, self-advocacy, and successful transitions for older students Provide RBT supervision in the future if the need arises
Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification required School-based experience strongly preferred Experience working with high school or post-secondary students preferred Strong knowledge of ABA principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs Ability to work independently across multiple school sites Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Comfortable working with students preparing for post-secondary education, employment, or greater independence Why Youll Love This Opportunity This position offers a unique opportunity to work with high school and post-secondary students, helping them develop the behavioral, social, and functional skills needed for success beyond high school.
