Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene to promote independence. Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans. Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols tailored to each client's individualized care plan. Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies aligned with special education principles. Conduct direct behavioral therapy sessions, utilizing behavior management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors. Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior charts, and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency and transparency in care delivery. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Hands-on experience in behavioral health or home-based behavioral therapy environments. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards. Familiarity with implementing ABA therapy protocols and behavior management strategies. Experience working within school settings or community-based programs supporting individuals with disabilities. Understanding of ethical guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Demonstrated ability to collect behavioral data accurately and utilize it to adapt interventions effectively.
