Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students through applied behavior analysis in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who thrives on making a tangible difference in the lives of students and enjoys collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience providing behavioral services to children or youth, preferably in a school or educational context Strong understanding of ABA principles and their application in educational environments Skill in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans Excellent communication skills for working with educators, staff, parents, and students Ability to provide guidance and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or paraprofessionals as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct formal assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) for students requiring support Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to students' needs and ensure fidelity of implementation Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate ABA strategies into daily routines and classroom environments Provide training and ongoing guidance to staff working directly with students with behavioral needs Monitor student progress, collect and analyze data, and adjust interventions to maximize positive outcomes Participate in meetings and contribute behavioral expertise as part of student support teams You'll be part of a mission-driven school environment where your expertise is recognized and valued.
