Behavior Technician (BT) - School-Based | Up to $26/hr | San Ramon, CA Up to $26/hr | Monday-Friday | No weekends Work directly with students who need consistent support in the classroom. This Behavior Technician (BT) role in San Ramon, CA focuses on helping K-12 students stay engaged, follow routines, and make steady progress throughout the school day. You'll be working alongside teachers and school staff in a structured setting. What Does a Behavior Technician Do? This is a hands-on student support role inside a K-12 school. Behavior Technicians work directly with students who may have autism, developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or other support needs. They may work 1:1 with a student or support a small group.
- Providing direct behavioral support
- Redirecting challenging behaviors
- Reinforcing positive behaviors
- Helping students stay engaged and follow classroom routines
- Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collecting and documenting behavioral data
- Supporting students during classroom transitions
