Qualifications:

Valid and current California Board of Occupational Therapy License (copy required) Experience as an Occupational Therapist or a highly skilled COTA In-depth understanding of evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents Strong communication and documentation skills Passion for working with school-aged populations

Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of student-centered intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support a holistic approach to student progress Maintain thorough records of therapy sessions and student responses in compliance with state and district policies Offer consultative support and strategies for staff and families to facilitate student success in the classroom Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions This assignment features a consistent schedule of 32.5 hours per week, allowing for a balanced workload and meaningful engagement with your school's student population. You'll work throughout the entire school year, impacting one site and a defined caseload that supports professional focus and continuity.
