Role Summary The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Beachmont Behavioral Health in Santa Barbara, CA provides clinically sound, culturally responsive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adults served through CenCal Health and Regional Center funding streams. This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs), developing and supervising individualized, medically necessary treatment plans, and implementing data-driven interventions that promote skill acquisition, reduce maladaptive behaviors, and improve quality of life across home, school, community, and adult service settings. The BCBA delivers clinical oversight to behavior technicians and mid-level supervisors, ensuring treatment fidelity, ethical compliance with BACB standards, and consistent high-quality care, while collaborating closely with families, caregivers, educators, service coordinators, and interdisciplinary providers to support generalization and continuity of care. Additional responsibilities include providing caregiver training and coaching, maintaining accurate and timely documentation, completing authorizations and progress reports in alignment with CenCal and Regional Center requirements, and contributing to program development initiatives that expand accessible, outcomes-driven services for diverse pediatric and adult populations with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and co-occurring behavioral or mental health needs.

85-95K Medical, Dental, etc Auto Allowance CEUs Technology Stipend Pay for Performance Opportunities Key Responsibilities Conduct functional behavior assessments and skills-based assessments; develop data-based treatment plans and BIPs. Oversee treatment integrity via direct supervision, fidelity checks, and performance feedback for RBTs/behavior technicians. Deliver caregiver training using behavior-skills training (BST) and empirically supported curricula. Monitor outcomes via reliable data systems; adjust plans using visual analysis and structured decision rules. Complete clinically sound, payer-compliant documentation (assessment, progress, treatment reports) on schedule. Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners (e.g., SLP/OT/pediatrics/schools). Uphold BACB Ethics Code v2.0 and privacy laws (HIPAA/FERPA). Minimum Qualifications Master's in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field. Current BCBA certification in good standing; eligible for payer credentialing. Valid CA driver's license; reliable transportation for in-home/community services. Strong fluency with ABA measurement, experimental/logical analysis, and supervision best practices. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 Yrs Experience Spanish bilingual (highly desired but not required). Experience supervising techs/RBTs in home/community settings. Familiarity with ReThinkBH or similar EHR/practice platforms.
Work Setting Hybrid:
