Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary-aged students in a structured, Mild/Moderate Special Day Class (SDC) setting as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This full-time, full school year opportunity offers 30-32 hours per week, providing essential behavioral support to help students succeed academically and socially. In this backfill position, you will work under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who provides direct supervision. You'll have the chance to collaborate within an educational team environment, contributing your expertise and compassion to students who need it most.
Key Requirements:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential (must be current and verifiable) Experience supporting school-aged children in educational settings preferred Familiarity with Mild/Moderate SDC populations highly valued Must complete both district and agency onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting Ability to attend and participate in on-site interviews Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver behavior intervention strategies to students as outlined in behavior plans Collect and record ongoing data to monitor student progress Work closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and the supervising BCBA Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all professional interactions This role offers the unique advantage of working on a school schedule, allowing for a balanced lifestyle while making a direct impact in the classroom.
