In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to implement evidence-based behavioral interventions. Your energetic approach will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living activities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while developing your skills in behavioral health and special education. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, and feeding, to promote independence and self-care skills Collect and analyze behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement individualized behavior management strategies based on client care plans and ABA protocols Support clients in various settings, including home-based environments and school settings, ensuring consistency across environments Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to promote understanding of therapy goals and progress Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and data security Follow the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to uphold the highest standards of ethical practice Requirements Valid RBT certification or eligibility to obtain certification through a recognized certifying body Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder or other disabilities Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and experience implementing ABA therapy protocols Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavioral health interventions effectively Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress and adjusting treatment strategies accordingly Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards including HIPAA compliance Prior experience working in home-based or school environments supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred Excellent communication skills for engaging clients, families, and team members professionally Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based behavioral therapy.
