Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an in-home setting, where your passion for helping children and individuals with developmental disabilities comes to life! In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your dedication will directly improve the quality of life for clients on the autism spectrum and other neurodevelopmental disorders. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Duties Deliver direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to each client's individualized care plan, focusing on skill development and behavior management. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene, fostering independence and confidence. Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Implement ABA therapy protocols precisely as outlined by supervising BCBA, ensuring consistency and fidelity to best practices. Communicate regularly with clients' families and caregivers to provide updates, support strategies, and training on behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Support clients in various home environments, creating a safe, nurturing space conducive to learning and growth. Skills Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and their application in clinical settings. Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders. Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral health and behavior management. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior intervention plans effectively. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, family collaboration, and team coordination. Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
