Responsibilities Implement evidence-based ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's care plan, ensuring consistency and fidelity in treatment delivery Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines to promote independence Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching functional language and social interactions Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, session logs, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate closely with supervising behavior analysts and team members to ensure ethical and professional standards are upheld according to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Communicate effectively with clients' families and caregivers to provide updates on progress and reinforce strategies used during sessions Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder is preferred Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementation of behavior intervention plans Experience assisting with ADLs and supporting clients in home-based or school settings is highly desirable Ability to collect behavioral data accurately and maintain meticulous medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and familiarity with medical records management Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within required timeframes is necessary for employment Join us in creating meaningful change through compassionate care, innovative therapy techniques, and dedicated teamwork.
