Full Job Description Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Center Based, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Your positive attitude and commitment will help foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life for those we serve.
Duties:
Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, fostering independence and self-care skills Support clients during structured teaching sessions focused on communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors using ABA principles Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies Collaborate with team members to develop and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs Create a safe, engaging environment that encourages participation, learning, and positive reinforcement Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Excellent data collection skills for tracking client progress and behavior patterns accurately Compassionate approach to working with individuals requiring patience, understanding, and support Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, families, and other professionals involved in care management
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
