9582393-80550 Job Description Step into a pivotal role supporting students and staff across a dynamic K-12 environment as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite, foster meaningful change, and collaborate closely with educators to enhance behavioral and autism support district-wide. As the designated BCBA, your expertise will impact numerous school sites. You'll empower building staff through direct guidance and hands-on support, particularly within behavior and autism programs. Rather than managing a direct caseload, your responsibilities will center around conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), developing and refining Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and providing supervision to two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Your presence and leadership will be instrumental in shaping a positive and inclusive learning environment for students across the district.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license for Colorado Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification Demonstrated experience working in K-12 educational settings, with a focus on behavior and autism support Strong background in conducting FBAs and designing BIPs Prior supervisory experience, especially overseeing RBTs, is highly valued Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Must be available for full-time onsite work for the entire contract period
