Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team at A Parentz Touch ABA as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and play a vital role in supporting individuals with Autism (ASD). In this engaging position, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, assist with daily living skills, and contribute to meaningful progress for those you serve. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform ongoing treatment strategies and ensure accurate medical documentation. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines, fostering independence. Support teaching sessions by reinforcing positive behaviors and guiding clients through structured activities tailored to their needs. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and managing sensitive medical records securely. Collaborate closely with supervising clinicians and team members to update care plans and ensure consistent implementation of behavioral health strategies. Foster a caring, patient-centered environment that encourages growth, learning, and emotional well-being for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA), is highly valued. Familiarity with special education practices & behavior management strategies. Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records are essential for success in this role.
