Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students across Pre-K through 12th grade as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a vibrant educational setting. This contract-based, full-time role offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated behavioral professional to collaborate with school teams district-wide. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will last approximately nine weeks, providing critical assistance in a dynamic school environment. In this position, you'll work approximately 7 to 7.5 hours each day (final schedule to be confirmed), delivering exceptional behavioral services to a diverse group of students. Your expertise will guide the creation and implementation of effective behavior intervention plans, fostering positive outcomes for both students and educators.
Qualifications:
Active Connecticut BCBA license required Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred Familiarity supporting students from Pre-K through high school encouraged Ability to work collaboratively across different campuses and teams Reliable transportation to navigate between sites as needed Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Flexible and adaptable to district needs in a fast-paced, supportive environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop evidence-based intervention plans for students with diverse needs Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective plan implementation Oversee data collection and monitor student progress, adjusting approaches as necessary Provide coaching and professional development to school staff regarding positive behavioral supports Serve as a district-wide resource for best practices in behavior analysis and intervention This is an exceptional opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience, working with a broad range of students and disabilities in a supportive district environment.
