Job Description

Bring your skills and make an immediate impact in a supportive, collaborative school environment dedicated to serving students with autism. This is a short-term contract opportunity for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Experienced Paraeducator ready to support young learners in a specialized autism program classroom, working closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications:
Active RBT certification or CT Para certification (required) Previous experience supporting children in Autism Program classrooms, ideally with severe cases of ASD Skilled in behavioral intervention strategies and compassionate, patient demeanor Comfortable assisting with daily living needs, such as toileting and diaper changes Experience with 5-6-year-olds strongly preferred Reliable, flexible, and able to commit to a full-time, onsite assignment
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct one-on-one or small-group behavioral support to students with severe ASD Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of certified staff Assist with activities of daily living (including toileting and hygiene support) Employ evidence-based behavior management techniques Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and support staff Collect and document data to measure student progress Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that fosters growth and independence
