09/15/2026 West Hartford Public Schools is seeking to fill a position for a full-time registered behavior technician at Conard High School. Previous experience with students with social-emotional-behavioral needs is preferred. Responsibilities include working with other pupil services staff to implement IEP goals and objectives, collect data, and support students' behavioral and academic needs.Requirements:
Completion of required training including 40-hour online course, required supervision hours by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Must have passing score on the RBT Competency Assessment. Must pass the initial RBT examination and annual recertification process. Must have current certification or be able to obtain certification in Physical Management Training. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have demonstrated completion of high school or equivalent/higher, and pass all necessary background checks.Job Description:
Implement student Behavior Intervention Plans. Maintain and report student records. Communicate with classroom teachers regarding student progress. Perform Physical Management in the event of an emergency. Discharges duties in accordance with RBT Ethics Code. Other duties as assigned by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Pupil Services Department Supervisor. Please include a current resume, transcripts, copy of certification, and 3 letters of recommendation dated within the last 365 days. Excellent benefits and working conditions.Rate of pay:
