Category Schools - ABA Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Behavior Specialist working within a K-12 school environment. In this contract role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting students with various behavioral needs, implementing effective strategies, and collaborating with educational staff and families. Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise as a Behavior Specialist in educational settings Strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques Proven ability to assess, design, and implement behavioral intervention plans Experience supporting K-12 populations with diverse behavioral presentations Ability to work independently—this position does not involve RBTs or behavior technicians Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, develop, and monitor individualized behavioral support plans for students across all grade levels Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote consistency and ensure best practice implementation Provide coaching and training to school personnel on behavioral strategies and data collection Document progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm Your deep ABA knowledge and behavior intervention experience will help empower students and educators to achieve meaningful behavioral progress in a supportive school community.
