This position is ideal for those with certification as a BCBA or hands-on experience as an ABA Therapist, especially those eager to collaborate closely with administrative staff and play a key role in shaping behavior programs.
Key Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential, or significant experience as an ABA Therapist in school-based settings Experience developing, monitoring, and implementing behavior intervention plans Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and the use of ABA principles in educational environments Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with educational staff, students, and families Commitment to student growth, diversity, and inclusion
Responsibilities:
Partner with administrative personnel in the development of behavior programs, potentially supporting Dean of Behavior functions Design, implement, and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze behavioral data to craft effective strategies Train and support teachers and classroom staff in ABA-based approaches and crisis intervention Foster an equitable, respectful, and safe school culture for all students by promoting positive behavioral supports Collaborate with school leadership to ensure behavior interventions align with district goals and policies
