Job Description

Join Our Team and Make a Difference Thrive Behavioral Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing team. As an RBT, you will provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with autism and other developmental needs. You will work directly with clients to build meaningful skills in areas such as communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, independence, school readiness, and daily living . Services may be provided in clients' homes, schools, community settings, and other approved environments under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are looking for team members who genuinely enjoy working with children, are willing to learn, and understand that meaningful progress is built through patience, consistency, compassion, and evidence-based practice. What You'll Do As an RBT, you will: Provide 1:1 ABA services according to individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA. Implement skill-acquisition programs targeting communication, social skills, school readiness, emotional regulation, adaptive skills, and independence. Implement behavior-support strategies according to the client's treatment plan and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP), when applicable. Use positive reinforcement and other evidence-based ABA strategies to increase meaningful skills. Collect accurate data throughout sessions to measure client progress. Assist clients in developing age-appropriate daily living skills, which may include toileting, dressing, grooming, feeding, and other self-care routines when included in the treatment plan. Support clients with transitions, functional communication, play, peer interactions, and participation in home, school, or community routines. Complete accurate and timely session documentation. Communicate professionally with parents, caregivers, teachers, BCBAs, and other members of the treatment team while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Participate in ongoing BCBA supervision, training, competency development, and performance feedback. Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance. Follow the
BACB RBT
Ethics Code, company policies, treatment protocols, and applicable professional requirements.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent. Willing to take the Registered Behavior Technician course online (paid training) Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing. Ability to pass required background and child-safety clearances. Reliable transportation to assigned client locations. Ability to consistently arrive on time and maintain assigned client schedules. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow written treatment protocols and accept ongoing coaching and feedback. Patience, professionalism, dependability, and a genuine interest in helping children develop new skills.
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
