9687893-19730 Job Description Step into a dynamic and rewarding education setting as a Registered Behavior Technician, where your expertise will support an elementary-aged student in a 1:1 setting. This contract opportunity, located near Odessa, DE, offers a collaborative environment dedicated to student growth and positive behavioral outcomes. Youll play a pivotal role in helping young learners develop essential skills, working closely with experienced educators and behavior specialists.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience supporting elementary-aged students, ideally within a school setting Solid understanding of behavior intervention strategies and data collection methods Ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team Compassionate, patient, and reliable, with excellent communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 behavior intervention and support services to a student at the elementary school level Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by supervising behavior specialists or BCBA Accurately track and document student progress, reporting findings to the educational and clinical team Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote consistency and generalization of skills Participate in regular team meetings to refine and update intervention strategies This position is structured for approximately 20 hours per week, offering consistent part-time hours that can complement your schedule and other commitments.
