Job Description

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is responsible for the direct implementation of skill-acquisition and behavior reduction plans developed by the BCBA. The RBT provides assistance to children, families, and team members in providing an appropriate, safe learning environment to students enrolled in the program.
JOB DUTIES
Implement goals that are objective and measurable according to the program designed by the BCBA. Collect data accurately and use systems in place to flag concerns immediately to BCBAs. Maintain a neat and orderly clinic environment. Assist with parent and caregiver training when prescribed and necessary. Maintain certifications necessary pertaining to current role Complete required trainings and paperwork in a timely manner. Interacts with the clinical team and families to ensure client progression. Provide direct services to clients based on current treatment plans. Maintain electronic sessions notes in [practice management company]. Ability to work in center location, homes, and community. Render sessions by the close of business day. Follow all company policies and procedures for HIPAA. Follow all applicable company workflows. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma Experience working with children
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with children with special needs preferred Active RBT Certification or Completion of 40-Hour RBT Certification CPR and First Aid (Must be completed for Credentialing)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Fluent in the English language Able to learn, demonstrate, and explain physical skills of moderate complexity Physically able to move from a standing position to one knee and back up, without assistance or support Normal functioning and range of motion in arms, legs, hips, wrists, back, neck, etc Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Pay:
$15.00 - $21.50 per hour
