Responsibilities Provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to individuals with developmental and behavioral needs in home, school, and community settings under BCBA supervision Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill-acquisition plans with consistency and fidelity Collect accurate, real-time data on target behaviors and skill development, using electronic or paper systems as required Monitor client responses and communicate progress, challenges, and observations to the supervising BCBA and clinical team Assist in teaching communication, social, self-help, academic, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques Implement behavior reduction strategies, including de-escalation and crisis prevention procedures as trained Maintain thorough, timely, and professional session notes and documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other providers to support consistent implementation of treatment plans Participate in regular supervision, training sessions, and team meetings to enhance ABA competencies and maintain RBT credential requirements Adhere to ethical guidelines and client confidentiality requirements, promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive therapeutic environment Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) fundamentals Implementation of behavior intervention and skill-acquisition plans Behavior data collection and charting Use of reinforcement and prompting strategies Basic functional behavior assessment participation (under supervision) Therapeutic communication with clients and families De-escalation and behavior reduction techniques Electronic health record or clinical documentation systems Time management and session planning Interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration
