THIS POSITION IS NOT A 1099 CONTRACTOR CLASSIFICATION. IT IS AN ETHICAL AND LEGAL VIOLATION PER FEDERAL LABOR LAWS FOR RBTS TO BE HIRED AS 1099 CONTRACTORS AND MAY BE A REPORTABLE OFFENSE
  • Any RBT working under an LLC that they have been asked to create is violating Federal Labor Laws by advertising themselves as a 1099 contractor.

" Behavior Technicians May Not be Independent Contractors in the U.S. In addition to this being a serious IRS matter, failure to use the appropriate worker classification for behavior technicians may constitute a violation of the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts. In the event that a Code violation is alleged against you for mischaracterization of RBT services, the BACB will request a copy of the written opinion of a tax professional to demonstrate that appropriate due diligence was exercised in making the classification." The Lead RBT's primary mission at SEA is to assist the founders in building a uniquely educational experience for children in the Lee County community with developmental disorders such as ASD, ADD, and ADHD through the science of Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. The Lead RBT leads by example through adherence to the company values and by assisting their direct reports in taking ownership of the policies, procedures, and processes resulting in efficient day-to-day clinic operations. The Lead RBT position is a hybrid of direct 1:1 therapy and administrative duties. Administrative Duties:
Onboards and trains new RBT's ensuring they understand the company's policy, procedures, and processes as well as verify RBT skills Lead and mentor RBTs by offering real-time assistance during behavioral challenges and delivering targeted retraining to ensure implementation fidelity Collaborate with leadership to implement new clinic-wide initiatives, providing training and support to staff to ensure successful adoption Promote accountability by monitoring staff performance within clinic-wide programs and addressing gaps in adherence as needed Organize and ensure clinic supplies are stocked Create materials as needed for clients Provide assistance in clinic schedule and room rotations as needed Trains in various subject matters such as safety care, CPR, etc. Assists in conducting monthly quality control audits of clinic efficiency, documentation, and accountability Participates in marketing and community outreach events Other duties as assigned
  • Direct Therapy Duties Conducts 1:1 therapy in an enthusiastic manner Follows specific treatment plan in the delivery of behavior analytic therapy to enrich the learner's growth in skills acquisition while working on eliminating problematic behaviors that affect development May work with typically developing children as well as children with disabilities Creates an environment of engagement and learning Assists in organizing and enforcing clinic activities as well as leading RBTs in taking ownership over clinic activities Collects data and writes progress notes Informs immediate supervisor of issues as they arise Submits time sheets on time Submits reports (e.
g., reauthorization and monthly reports) on time Completes daily progress notes Completes authorized therapy hours per client Other duties as assigned.
Your skills:
  • Registered by the BACB as an RBT is required
  • Degree in related field (psychology, education or applied behavior analysis) or currently in-process
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Acceptance of philosophy and code of conduct of the Company and the BACB
  • Must possess a high level on integrity
  • Central Reach experience
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
  • Must possess very strong management and organizational skills Physical requirements for a Lead RBT include, but are not limited to:
  • Sitting/standing:
    Long periods of time sitting or standing with client(s) in various settings.
  • Crouching/kneeling:
    When working with younger clients, kneeling to their level helps build rapport.
  • Lifting/carrying:
    Transporting client materials to and from sessions (up to 25 lbs).
  • Running:
    Some clients tend to elope during the session, requiring running to ensure the client's safety.
  • Pushing/pulling:
    Working with clients with physical impairments might require pushing and/or pulling wheelchairs, or other physical assistant devices.
  • Crawling:
    Playing with clients on the floor, motor imitation, and other floor activities.
