Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is essential in providing support and education to enhance the quality of life for our clients through effective behavioral therapy techniques. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA. Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors to inform treatment decisions. Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients. Educate clients and their families on strategies to promote positive behavior changes. Assist in the development of care plans tailored to each client's needs. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation as required by company policies and regulations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Qualifications High School Diploma Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Background in special education or behavioral health is highly desirable. Familiarity with data collection methods and behavioral therapy practices. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate clients and families. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Compassionate approach toward patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Must be willing to undergo any required background checks or certifications related to the position.
