Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Registered Behavior Technician. This full-time, on-site role focuses on helping young learners succeed academically and behaviorally throughout the school year. At the outset, you'll provide dedicated 1:1 support for a student, later transitioning into an itinerant role across 3-4 school sites within a low incidence program. This engaging assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering 35 hours per week (7 hours per day) within a dynamic elementary school environment. What you'll need: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential Experience supporting behavioral interventions and skill acquisition in school settings, especially with elementary-aged children Confidence and flexibility to work both one-on-one and itinerantly across multiple campuses as program needs shift Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff Ability to undergo required fingerprinting—a crucial compliance step that may include validation through the AHCA Clearinghouse or reprinting and the acquisition of a JLA badge Key responsibilities: Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students, initially in a direct 1:1 capacity Collect and document data on student progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records Collaborate closely with teachers, behavior analysts, and support staff As the year progresses, provide behavioral support and intervention to multiple sites within the district's low incidence program Adapt to changing caseloads and deliver consistent, positive behavioral supports in various classrooms This is a contract opportunity for those passionate about making a real difference in young students' lives.
