In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with behavioral health needs, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be to assist in the development of skills and behaviors that promote independence and improve quality of life. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Assist in collecting data on client progress and behavior changes. Educate clients and their families about behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Provide support during behavioral therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Collaborate with other team members to adjust treatment strategies as needed. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health. Skills Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong understanding of behavioral health concepts and practices. Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. Ability to assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies. Knowledge of medical terminology and record-keeping practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and families. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to client welfare.
