Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and adolescents implementing individualized care plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Provide direct support and care to clients, focusing on improving their social, emotional, and behavioral skills. Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided. Communicate clearly and effectively - both orally and written - with clients, families, and colleagues Maintain the professional and ethical standards of Behavior Quest and the BACB both on and off the job Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Experience Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or behavioral challenges, is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient care practices and ABA principles is essential. Experience in data collection and medical documentation is preferred. Strong communication skills for educating clients and families effectively. Ability to assist in creating a supportive environment that encourages learning and growth. RBT Requirements Active RBT Certification with the BACB (REQUIRED) Active CPR/BLS Certification (preferred) HIPAA Training (preferred) Ability to pass level II background screening (REQUIRED) Minimum 2 years experience working with children with developmental and behavioral disorders (preferred) Knowledge of Autism and other developmental disorders Knowledge of Verbal Behavior and Skill Acquisition Passion for helping children reach their potential Willingness to learn and work as a team Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of children through dedicated support and effective behavioral interventions.
